Lance Briggs

Chicago Bears' Fan Inspired by Lance's Passion for Comic Books

Hey Guys,

Lance Briggs fans are expressing their admiration through letters, blog posts and now even through artwork. Thomas Hall, a Chicago Bears' fanatic, was so intrigued by Lance's interest in comics that he decided to draw his own version of Lance Briggs as a super hero.

Hall began drawing as young as age four. After winning a drawing contest, he began to take an interest in the creative aspects of comic book interpretation. Hall's indulgence in recent comics has a great mix of storytelling and artwork.

His new taste in comics helped him create his version of "Briggs The Superhero." Hall stated that the pieces he created exposes not only the strength and power of Briggs but also tells a story about the Chicago Bears. The super hero gear is inspired by the Bears' football uniform and their crowd enthusiasm and noise during games.

Hall states, “ As you can see I did not take away Lance's cool factor, which I feel represents his demeanor, and of course, I incorporated the Bear’s colors." Hall went on to explain that the second drawing incorporates Lance's power and strength, in the shoulder pads that would he gave the character. The high shoulder pads reflect the super heros ability to protect himself from the crowds loud noises and from his opponents on the field.

From all of us here at LCW, thank you Thomas Hall, for your time and dedication.
